Where to route for amp power?

Don't flame me, but I did do a search. Just couldn't find what I needed. I have a Lightning and was wondering where the best and easiest way to run my 4ga wire from behind the seat up to the battery. Thanks.

I have the extended cab but I am pretty sure you will also have a grommet in the same location as I did. Anyway on the passenger side just below the rocker panel trim there is a rubber grommet in the floorboard. I simply removed this grommet then used flex conduit through the hole and secured the conduit to the truck with clamps and brought it up directly to the battery. I did mine this way for two reasons. One is that the path was much shorter going this way and second it looks much nicer not to mention is kind of overkill on the safety factor. Anyway I get kinda **** like that. Another place is on the firewall on the driver's side there is also a large rubber grommet you can go through just go with whatever you feel works best for you.

I ran mine through the fire wall. on the driver side under the steering columm there is this like 1 1/2 in hole pluged up with a rubber stopper thing. I just took that out ran the wire through there and pluged it up with something I made out of sillicon.

BTW: rockford fosgate makes very durable amp wiring kits

oh and if you do do it like this make sure to keep the wires away from your break and the gas. Ive seen some jobs done by Best Buy which they just roll up the left over wire around the gas pedal. they are crazy...lol.

i ran mine in the same place but just cut a slit in the rubber thing to give it a tight fit.
