MTX Subwoofer

Does anybody have a MTX model #: FXP16A subwoofer in their truck? This has two 8" woofers and a built in power amp. Is it a sealed box? I have a 2001 ext/cab. I am going to try to use factory head unit but will pull wires for better unit during installation.
Thanks

my experience

if i am guessing correct u are getting the enclosure that goes underneath the rear seat. i looked into buying that and it was pretty expensive i believe the guy at circuit city said around 700 with installation. so if u dont already have everything bought and it seems like u cando installation by urself i would recommend going to subbox.net and searching there. It has some nice enclosures that are escpecially made for our kinds of trucks, are reasonalby priced, and on the website some of the enclosures come with advanced guides with pictures on how to install them.

Anyway hopes this helps

Yes, it will be mounted under back seat. Circuit City is way too expensive. I found one for around $400.

Thanks texasmotorsport,
I was hoping to find somebody who has one to see if they are worth the money. It has only 100 watt built in amp to drive two speakers. I emailed MTX with questions last night but no responce yet. I am now thinking of building a box my self.
