I have the louder version of Spintech's mufflers with high flow cat's..It's not very loud inside but outside woo hoo!!! I had a flow before but got real sick of the drone too..I think the spintech sound is much nicer too!Spintechs are made not to drone...I bet you would be happier with the quieter version..Maybe next time? Chech out a Magnaflow too..Definately no chance of drone there..

I may actually have them swap out the muffler. The expensive work of running the duals is already done so it wouldn't be to bad just to replace the muffler. Those Spintechs sound like they would be good. I have heard the magnaflows and didn't care much for them though.

Oh, and I agree with you totally on the carpet issue Haz. I can wish though. I have thought about using the extreme and adding another layer to the floorpan but doing it from the underside of the truck instead. afterall it is coated with an aluminum barrier which would even help deflect exhaust heat as well but I am not sure how it would stand up to the elements. I guess I could always spray the underside with plain old undercoating until it's 1/4" thick.
