Alpine SPS-570A speakers

Ok I'm thinking about replaceing the factory speakers in my truck, I have a 2001 F150 ext cab. I went down to the local cc in my area and check out a few differnent speakers, the Alpine Sps-570a sounded best to me, Does anyone have these speakers in thier truck? I want to replace all 4 speakers, these go for $109 a pair and cost about $35 for each pair to install. I have the stock HU with the cd changer in center console, So in anyone ones Opinion is it worth the $300 buck just to replace the speakers?

Thanks

Yes, just replacing the factory speakers is a great upgrade to any system. The most important thing is that the Alpines sounded best to you. Replacing the rear speakers is an option you could either do or not since the fronts are the primary you listen to anyway. It would make a slight difference to replace the back as well. Therefore is it worth the price to you? Another thought here would be save yourself $70 and put them in yourself. It is relatively easy to swap out the door speakers.

I agree with cgorris. Swapping out the stock speakers will be exactly what you are looking for. I just purchased a pair of Boston Acoustics NX 87 speakers and they are awesome. It will make a world of a differance.

Also, taking off the door panel takes less than five minutes. All you have to do is pop off the little cup behind the door handle and unscrew the two screws and then lift up the door panel, it comes right off.

As for the rear two speakers, everything just pops off. Starting from the door sill to the back plastic piece that runs the length of the cab.
