I drive a 1997 F 150 XLT reg cab, I'm 16 and need to replace stock speakers for loud music but im not sure how big the speakers are and am too lazy to take off the doors and such. I was hoping one of you guys would know how big and could save me some time. let me know... Austin

 

I think it's a 5 X 7. I bought 4 JL audio XR570-CX, and a Jl 300/4 amp for my mids and highs. They sound pretty good.

I think alot of the major companys sell a 5x7/6x8 replacement speaker. You need to go and listen to as many as you can in your price range to decide which you like the best.
