Dynaudio anyone?

Anyone used there speakers? None of the shops in my area that i know of carry them so i cant really get a chance to listen to them but i know of the reputation that they have in the home market.

I was thinking of either getting there 5 1/4(system 240 i think) component set or have a kickpanel made and use there 3-way setup(System 340) and mount the tweeter and mid in the door.

Hard to be unhappy with Dyns. If you want to go with a 2way set up go atleast with the 6.5". It will fit without problems after you buy/make an adapter. If you are going with the 3way, the woofer goes in the door and the tweet & mid in the kick.

Dynaudio is ultra high end, and quite costly, but I believe you get what you pay for. I can't say they are the best, but they surely are close, as far as quality. They, as are all speakers, are designed for a certain type of use and installation. A great speaker in a poor installation could make them on a par with a mediocre speaker in a great installation. Sounds like you're headed in the right direction.

I was planning on rebuilding the inside of the door in fiberglass and has a seperate inclosure made in the door just for the speakers.

Love the Sonic Blue. I'm looking at a new Ranger in that color. If you make your installation rival the rest of your truck you'll be fine. Good Luck!

Dynaudio is really good. And they should be. They are an exact copy of Morel speakers. 3" voice coils, hexagonal wire. Cant go wrong.

Dynaudio is good stuff; hoever, I personaly dont really care for it. I find it to be too "dead" for me. It just depends on your taste and what you like. I like a more 'aggressive' and 'in your face' sound not harsh ot anything like that, just no real alid back, which is why I chose Utopias opposed to Dynaudio.
