sub box plans
Subs don't work that way. All subs require different amounts of airspace. It is best just to measure and see what you can get up under the seat. Then figure airspace and pick a sub. That is the best way to get good sound quality.
I plan to put two 10w7s under the back seat...Well...I WILL put two 10w7s under the back seat.
I am going to start with the LIMWelding Hi-rider 4" lift kit for the back seat. Then I will fiberglass 3 'sides' of the box (back, top, and bottom), and use 1 inch MDF for the front baffle. In doing this I will end up in the neighborhood of 1.5ft^2 each, which should be a pretty good environment for these two subs. Also, the subs will be firing forward.
