Thumbs up awesome subs

I just bought two 18" Audiobahn subs. WOW. Everybody should have these. They are only $339 at justaudiobahn.com. They only bad thing I could see with them is the 1200 watt R.M.S. per sub. If you got the amps for them I would HIGHLY recommend the 18's.

Audiobahn 18"'s
1200 Watt R.M.S.
97 db
16 Hz- 500 Hz

I am pretty sure that the subs won't fit in a regular cab. I don't have any pics because I don't have a digital camera plus I am getting a custom box setup to be put in the bed of the truck. I thought I could squeeze the subs under my back seat(I have an extended cab) with a seat lift kit , but my audio installer suggested to put it in the bed so the subs would have more space. Once I get my custom box back and find a digital camera I will post some pics.

Sounds cool, but from running live sound applications, I've always thought that 18" 's were a little too slow to move for my tastes, and that 15" were the max I'd go-

But your application sounds really cool. Be sure to post some pics, I'd love to see it

You'd be surprised at the amout of SQ competitors running 18s....

However, in some cases you are right and most likely this is the case with audiobahns: many sub companies use the same motor size for an entire line of subs and on the 10 and 12s hey work great but once you get to the 15s and 18s they can become a little weak. But, these days a lot fo sub companies are moving away from this and designing different size motors for different size subs....one example is the JL w7s

Boston Pro Series is great at making Subs too. I have a 10" underneath the back bench on my extended cab.
