10 sub installed

Well last week I finally built my box, and yesterday I hooked up to amp and wow it sounds good. Just enough for me, I couldnt imagine 2 10s! Plan on ordering the LMI seat lift kit today to give me a little more room for the sub(excursion).
The box I built was designed off of the plans that were drawn up by codeblue rt but, well half of it anyways since I only have one sub, I needed 1.0 cu. ft. of airspace for the kenwood sub so I made it a little longer. Tried to do it without the seat lift but wasnt do able with my sub(mounting depth too deep). If anyone has questions I will try to help out.
Bill

I'll try to get some pictures of the box wihtin the next couple of days(it still needs carpeting), and yes it is the tornado (KFC 2503) got the sub really cheap($40) at the Marine Corp Exchange in San Diego. I already had the amp so all together it was $60 bucks after the sub and mdf board. Well I guess $160. I forgot the $100 for the seat lift kit.

I'll be posting pictures of my kenwood tornado 12's tomorrow. Just got them hooked up today. I was shocked they sound better than my 3 JL w0's. I guess having a very sealed enclosure that is lower than the recommended airspace helps with tight bass.

The best way to go about it is build the box yourself. That way you can make it fit to your liking. That is what i did. A Jigsaw don't cost that much, by the time you spend two or three hundred dollars for a box.

3/4 mdf 20 dollars a sheet or cheaper
4 tubes of liquid nail like 7 dollars
Box of dry wall screws
couple drill bits
20 dollars worth of carpet
couple speaker terminals
Then you have a box. Bout eighty bucks total if you already have a jigsaw. Plus it is a good way to pass the time away on a rainy day.
