12"s in a Lightning

Does anyone have 12" subs in there lightning. I have two 12" Infinity Kappa perfects from my old car and wanted to put them in the L. I have already tried searching and didnt find what i needed, maybe i just searched wrong?

I don't have an L but I have two 12's in my reg cab. All you have to do is build or buy a box that will fit. You can install the amp under the driver's seat, unless the amp is HUGE.

Clonetek does. Here's the link to his Accessories gallery. I'm sure there are others with 12's in a lightning but his is the one I like the most.

I was going to go with a pair of 15s behind the seats in my L. Couldn't find a 2nd Illusion ND15 so I scrapped the idea. Would have been awesome. There are some shallow 12s you can fit with a little extra work. Then there are super shallow subs like the Illusions or Phase Linear Aliantes that fit with zero problem. The Perfects are somewhat deep so you might have a hard time.

I have 2 12's in my truck. I went with the L5 solobarics. unfortunatly my amp was too big to go under the seat. I had to boxes built for the 12's. I was able to cram all that behind my seat and loose no leg room at all. CHeck my pics.

What's the required airspace on those new Solos? I just built a box for my XPL 12", and it just fits between the plastic trim in the back, and just under the slight overhang. My XPL is a 99 model which was the 98 Solo, and requires 1.25CF...

I got Kenwood 12s behind the seat of my Regular cab f150. It was very challenging, but it can be done.
