OK, well we're closer now. Got to talking to some people and the Blues, Brews and BBQ festival is kind of expensive. So my alternate ideas are for 9/5/09

Either meet at the Whitewater park. Nice Deck over the manmade river with decent food and beers.

or...

Meet and ride on out to Bridge's BBQ on the 74bypass. Regarded as some of the best BBQ in the state. (Not starting a discussion on it). It is vinegar based sauce.

HA! In BOTH pictures your just standing around in dive suits.

 

Hard to please aren't ya?!

Believe me, when you've got 30 pounds of helmet pushing on your neck, 15 pounds of backup air tank(s) and 10-30 pounds of lead weight strapped to you, you don't stand around too long!

Plus, when we're underwater we're usually taking pictures of damage, not of ourselves, so it kind of hard to get one where I'm 'actually' working.

Cool. I don't know how heavy our confined space tanks are. I know the rescuers tank is probably 35-40lbs. We dont take pictures, they'd make us go BOOM!.

I live in the Charlotte/Matthews area, and will be in the area during that weekend if some of y'all want to get together.

 

I might be headed to some gun store in Pineville on Saturday for work on my GLOCK. Matthews, home town to Jordan on Big Brother. (o)(o)

 

Headed back to my parents house (Augusta, Ga) this weekend, then off to Miami for 7 days of work, and will spend the next week home.

Never really got into the Big Brother shows. But that is pretty cool.
