They just put 4.56 gears in front and rear of my F150. They are the best and came highly recommended by 6 automotive shops in the area.
If I remember right, its 300 per axle if you take them differentials out of the truck
425.00 per axle if you take them your truck with the differentials installed and they use your parts.
I supplied my own parts as well and walked out paying 905.25 which includes tax.
Talk to George when you call. He's who I dealt with and owns the shop. They take great pride in their work and customer satisfaction is high on their priorities.
Why I recommend them so highly.
I asked them to replace my CV axles while they had my front differential out putting the new gears in. They said it would be no problem. We weren't sure why but the new CV axles that I supplied them didn't work. They would bind. Because I had taken my truck on a Friday the put everything back together for me to use over the weekend, and so we could figure out how to fix the CV axle and keep it from binding. Because they don't normally do CV axle replacement, they had me take the truck to Bronco John's Transmission to have the CV axles replaced. They said that they would pay any labor cost to have the new CV axles installed. Really surprised me that they were gonna pay the labor, but man was I excited.
Bronco Johns Transmissions deals with CV more often than Advanced Driveline. Bronco Johns ended up putting 4 different sets of aftermarket CV axles on and they all were binding. As a last resort I got some FORD factory CV axles and they worked. What a relief. After taking my truck to Bronco Johns on 5 different occasion and them taking the front end apart each time, I still wasn't charge any labor cost.
I think this goes to show the kind of dedication and integrity both of these shop have. I will always recommend both shops to anyone looking for differential work or regular automotive work.
P.S. When you get new gears you need to take it easy the first 500 miles to break them in. That means no towing or quick acceleration from the red light.
