I have noticed a few others in the area. I'm in Panama City. I've seen a Destin and Ft. Walton I think it was.

Fishing. Is that what the "chum" part is about?

Was it no good off Jax?

Fishing is good in Jax, but I know more spots in the panhandle. I was a transplant in Jax. Most of my fishing experience is in Choctawatchee bay where I grew up. Inshore fishing mostly. Redfish and speckled trout are my favorite prey

Chum is a nickname that I got in high school. Mostly a product of my interest in fishing! I cant wait until my wife moves back afer she finishes her sales season so we can go to crab island as a family

We have a couple of great trout spots. We have the Steamplant where the water is nice and warm for them all winter. You can tear them up off the Bailey bridge between Southport and Lynn Haven. Like you said chum, specs are usually around where you catch reds aren't they?

Specks in the bayous at night around lights is my favorite way to get 'em. Usually run in to some reds, flounder too at night. Summertime, Jacks off the bridges in the morning, bull reds off the jetties in the afternoon. Specks, flounder off the grass with freeline live shrimp. Love it!

FWB/Destin here

And being new to the area, wondering who/where you folks that are also in this neck of the woods (or should I say beach?) go to for your Ford repairs, parts, service, etc... The Valdez (what else does one name their 250/V10) is needing some help.

And in particular, where can I get a new tailgate? My boyfriend ran over mine--long story and no, it wasn't on the truck at the time! HA HA

Thanx

Noles are part of the make of NW FL being in Tally so of coarse, you're already in. I'm a Gator though . I had to throw that in.

Welcome to the panhandle, and Destin is right down the road from me in P.C. We, the Panhandle folks, need to set a central location, like say, a drag strip or something and meet up. Line the trucks up and get a picture. Maybe do lunch. I believe that it's every 2nd & 4th Sunday from 11:00-6:00 that Breakaway Dragway holds the test & tune some refer to as "run what you brung." I don't know really how centrally located that is, but it would be fun.
