From NC and need help passinf inspection with Tinted windows.

I am like five months overdue, and I am having trouble finding a place to inspect 05 screw lariat 4x4 with 20% n the front windows, I live near the charlotte area, any ideas or any locations to try.

Ah, I am so glad Florida doesn't have the inspections...until you see a real piece-o-crap on the road.

Have you had any luck?

roll the windows down and ask around and find a slack inspection station. or un hook the window switches and roll the windows down. rear glass isnt checked, but your strip is pretty much a give away if you have one. best bet is to find a slack place, or try to find someone to just sell you a punched sticker

That is illegal (the punched sticker thing)

Your best bet is to try a Jiffy lube or the like because they are usually very slack in the inspections. The shop I work in is rather strict in the inspections, but we seem to be watched moreso than other shops because we are professional technicians, not lube jockeys

Try telling the shop that you are a Private Investigator and you use it for surveillance use. Although you might have to show a badge.
