Been here a month, Traffic isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
But I have a 12 mile commute and working 6a-2p helps.

I've spent the last 18 years driving extensively between Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin. IMO, the Dallas-Fort Worth area has WAY worse traffic than Houston.

Now Houston certainly has it's issues, but traffic here is more predictable, and is generally focused in certain areas of town during certain times of day that you can at least try to avoid. Dallas-Fort Worth has HUGE areas of their road system that are virtual bottlenecks almost any time of day you happen through -- the I-35/820 area on the north side of Fort Worth, the entire 114/121 debacle out by the airport, the "fustercluck" that is 635 between 35 and 75 -- the list could go on-and-on.......
