Texas Roll Call?
My girlfriend and I are planning a mini vacation to Texas in the middle of May. We will be flying into SAT and heading down to Corpus Cristi, maybe up to Houston over to Austin and back to San Antionio. Anyone have any good suggestions of good entertainment in those areas please let me know
we are both excited to see Texas as neither of us have ever been there.

Any kind of entertainment, the glass bottom boats sound like a good time. Heard something about the USS Lexington not sure if that is anygood, but stuff like that. we are just going to "wing it" on this vacation.
The Lexington is cool. I'd visit the Texas Aquarium while you are there. It should be across the bay from the Lexington. While in Houston you should also see the Texas Natural History Museum. That is my favorite thing in Houston and it is air conditioned.
Houston is known for its museums, if it's a cool day check out the battleship and san jacinto monument...both are pretty cheap to do.
Awesome guys, thanks for the info on attractions. I will be writing down all the towns, museums and the Texas Aquarium you recomend. I really cant wait for May
There is supposed to be some beach in Corpus Christi something like 70 miles of white sand? any thoughts on that?

i drive by battleship everyday when i go to school, and the monument as well. I remember going there on field trips for school when i was way younger, didn't appreciate it as much then as i do now.

They also have Six Flags and Sea World in San Antonio along with a few other attractions. Houston as mentioned has alot of museums. There is always Galveston or Lake Conroe if you want to see water in/around Houston. Austin has alot of things to do also. If you like drinking go to 6th street lol. Just all depends on what you enjoy doing but there are plenty things to keep you occupied thats for sure. Hope you both enjoy your visit to Texas!
Thanks
