Camping and Offroading

Hey guys. I'm looking for a place where I can offroad during the day and camp at night. Nothing to crazy. Maybe just some trails and or mud. My truck can't handle rock climbing or anything like that. As for camping I do not need electric/water. It can be primative camping. Anyone know of a place. Thanks

so close to new braunfels, any way you can find some trails along the river to drive? then maybe park it, camp, float the river and have some beers with friends?
