LA Meet Sign Up
OK. We're gonna get together on Saturday, March 14th at Riverfront Park in Vidalia, LA - grassy area right behind the Amphitheatre on the levee between the Comfort Inn and Med Center/Convention Center. Proposed time is 11a to 5p. If you will be there please sign in on this thread. Donations sought to help cover damage/Liability insurance policy required by city. Restroom facilities available. Please sign in on this thread...TAKE ANY OTHER DISCUSSION TO "LA MEET AND GREET" THREAD PLEASE.

You're probably right but I thought this was supposed to be about our trucks ;-)
I know there's more than 5 LA members here - I realize not everyone can or wants to make it, but it seems a bit ludicrous to reserve a park and pay for insurance for 5 of us to share a couple beers. If that's the plan we could just grab a table at Fat Mama's across the river in Natchez and get slapped naked!

The forecast for Vidalia/Natchez this weekend is a 70-80 percent chance of rain and a high of about 60. Do we still want to meet or do we wait for a later date with better weather and maybe more people???

Maybe we ought to re-schedule and do some more advertising. Look's like we can get a better turn out then what we have now. I also heard about the chance of rain and a cold front coming in this weekend plus I just found out my daughter and grandson are flying down from Oklahoma Saturday to spend the week with my wife and I. I may even have to take a week of vacation next week so I can spend some time with them. I say we push the get together back a few week's. Let me know later, I'm on my computer at work in Belle Chasse right now.

I agree - let's look to a later date - maybe late April/May - weather should be better and we can explore other meeting sites, do more advertising, etc.
As I was the instigator of this I suppose I can officially cancel/postpone it.
