yea. and w/ all the crap thats been torn down you can drive alot more than i remember from during the summer. when i went out over xmas it was me and my friend in our trucks and maybe 2 other trucks that were just at the entrance fishing.

as far as time and date how about:

March 7 (1st saturday of the month)
meet early afternoon, 11:30-12:00 on the seawall, grab lunch or we could grill on the beach

people in North houston, we could meet somewhere and all drive down together.

I dont have a problem driving on the beach b.c i know yall would be there to rescue me. And as long as its got a nice entrance off of the concrete into the sand. My experience at Matagorda in my GF's blazer was pretty steep drop off from the pavement into the sand.

you like drive off the road onto basically a ****ty old concrete road then it slowly is sand, no big drop offs, just a crappy ole road. and if you do get stuck i got some recovery crap in my truck and im sure tequila does to

im definately down for a meet in galveston

i live there during the school year lol
theres lots of places to drive on the beach, although alot of restaurants/stores have steep entrances

i might have an apartment by march and if so people can crash there.
but ive camped out on the beach a few times and its cool to just get a fire going and chill.

keep us updated
