anyone in dallas texas

Hi Im new to the forum and I just moved to Dallas from Miami Florida (big change lol) It would be nice to find some places here to go wheeling because I really dont know ANY. Its nice to go wheelin with other people too so if anybody plans on going and didn't mind me tagging along that would be cool. I was a tech for toyota for for 2 years so if anybody wanted any help working on stuff Im more than open to that.

Welcome...38 here, so I don't take my 4x4 KR mudding. It does see the dirt when hunting, but not for play.

Thanks for all the replies. I understand about the not going mudding part I very rarely go any more for the fact that it takes forever to get the truck clean again lol But I mostly like to go on trails more than mud. I usually take trips to Colorado and go wheelin in the mountians when I can get some vacation time. Anybody else out there??

There are a few places about an hour north up toward OK. Maybe we could get a group together to go one saturday.

Some of the guys in the dallas area go over to a place near Gilmer, TX. I think it's called Barnhill Mountain, maybe.

I would be down for somethign like that in the spring. I just had ACL surgery so I will be down for a few months but when I get more mobile I would go. I talked to my buddy with a jeep and he said the place in Gilmer is awesome. Its 20.00 a day to use the facility and they have campgrounds, restrooms, atv trails, etc...

Welcome to Texas! I was born and raised in Dallas and currently live 30 miles SE of Big D. I don't know anything about 4wheelin' but I'll ask some of my East Texas friends.
