Question DFW Junk/Salvage Yards

So I have a project in mind, but it will be taking place after I come back to Arlington for school. I'm looking for the lower valance of a 99-04, 4WD F150, and a tail light too. My question is.....you guys that live in the DFW area, where would be the best/quickest/easiest place to look for these things? The yards down here near Freeport SUCK! I'd appreciate the input.

Thanks!

There are some around the area southeast of downtown out 175... And also some off Loop 12 near I-30 in between Dallas and Arlington.

Those are about the only ones up here of any size, or so it seems...

I don't know the names, I've just driven by these before.

I'm sure there are more.

BTW- I grew up in LJ... Have you looked off North Shepherd in Houston?

uhhh.....not really.....driving from WC to Houston for the chance or finding something is kind of out for me. too much gas to get there...plus houston drivers tend to p!ss me off...no offense.

i think im just gonna see wht i can find in DFW when i get back to school. grab a phone book and start dialing...

There are several salvage yards down Highway 287 in Kennedale. They would be very close to Arlinton and easy access. There are also some just North of I-30 in East Fort Worth. These are on Riverside, I think.
