hey huitt just returned your email. i didnt think about that. i reserved spot # 20 in the park. wilson h fox. it is near the water.

 

For those of you that do not have email enabled on your account this is what sent out. Also just thinking about it there is a local spot just north of Austin that all the hot rods go hang out maybe we could form a caravan and head up there in the early evening and make a club showing... just a thought.


Ok, the weekend of July 29th and 30th at Lake Granger, TX for the First F150online meet is getting close, everybody looking forward to it? I was not able to reserve the pavilion for our event but there are a couple areas that we can get together that are on the shoreline and have trees for shade, I will get there first thing in the morning and setup the location with chairs and what not. I will be reserving a camp site and pitch the ole tent and we will have our pontoon boat out there to enjoy the lake. Hotel info for Taylor is a Best Western Inn 512-352-5292 1 bed is $64.00 2 beds 69.00. Everybody will be responsible for there own beverages that they wish to consume. food we need to see if someone wants to head this up and get a list going for a pot luck or just bring your own. I will bring my charcole grill so we will be able to cook. Make sure to bring swim trunks and sun screen. The primary meet will be on Saturday and just hanging out on Sunday for those that stay overnight. I have hung out at the upper circle (labeled get together) in the past it has a nice bottom for swimming. The other area is supposed to be nice also I will check that out shortly, both have shade trees.

If anybody wants to make a meeting in Texas it should be in SOUTH PADRE ISLAND... PLENTY OF HUGE SAND DUNES. Just a thought.

Me too, as a mater of fact, I will be down there this weekend.

 

I just got back from a 4000 mile trip, i need to have the screw checked out as i had a few nicks along the way. I should be able to manage the trip even if its just for saturday.

How many of you Houston area people going? Is there gonna be a caravan planned? If so let me know so i can join in on it, ill join up near the columbus area (highway 71 and I 10) if you guys plan on going that route.

 

Yea i dont think im going to be able to get out of town that weekend. Sorry guys, i really do want to go tho
