Yeah, we could call it The Big A$$ Whataburger F-150 Convention of Western Arkansas, lol. It's been years since I've been to that place, so I've forgotten how good it is. It's funny that it's the only Whataburger around for lots of miles. Biggest thing that's happened around here for burger joints is the new Fuddruckers in Fayetteville and one up and coming in Rogers. Steak n Shake will be in Fayetteville soon, next to the mall. Well, I'd better close it up now. This is the f-150 forum, not the burger forum.

Hey everyone I just bought a 2002 F150 ext. cab Flareside 4x4 about a month ago with 65000 miles. I was wondering what kind of gas mileage everyone was getting and if there was anything I could do to increase mine. My truck has the 4.6 motor with a catback turbo exauhst one in two out, everything else is stock pretty much but I am running 285 75 16 Cooper Discoverer A/T's on Eagle alloy 1219HD rims. I have averaged 13 thats highway and city driving mixed! I am thinking of putting in the K&N intake system any advice? Thanks for all the help!
If it ain't built Ford tough then the builder screwed up!
Ford the best never rest!

I've heard from some people that Lander's is a decent place, but my experience with them...wasn't so great. I did not buy from them.
First off, they only wanted to give me $1,500 for my trade-in. I had a 1995 F-150 4wd XLT Short Bed V8, I think it had about 89,000 miles on it at that time, it had new tires, new slave cylinder, and a rebuilt tranny, and clutch. Needless to say, it was an insult, and I was pretty mad. On top of that, he wanted pratically the same price for a regular cab XL, as what I paid for the truck i have now. If I remember correctly, I paid about a $1,000 more for mine at Smith Ford in Conway.
I really was happy with Smith Ford, but most importantly the salesman that sold me the truck, Roger Langley. He was very open and honest about prices, he gave me a fair price for my trade-in and a decent price on the new truck.
Might be worth the time to give him a call. 329-9881

BTW I am in Conway, lived there about 2-3 months now, originally from Atkins. Glad to find this board and see some fellow Arkies on it.
