New guy needs help....

Hey folks...

I have a question.

I'm looking to buy a truck soon, and I've always been a fan of the regular cab black F-150.

I recently found one for sale here in Texas, and I want to know if it sounds like a decent deal.

1999 Ford F-150 Reg. cab.
V6 with a 5-speed manual trans.
42,000 miles. Never wrecked.
Black with cloth interior.

$8,000 (financed)...or $6000 cash.

It's a nice looking truck, lacks power I'm sure, but I have a 300hp jap-car for that.

Just want to know if this is a good deal.

Thanks!

unfortunately, you have fallen victim to a forum that is not travel by many. It's way too far down the list and I for one just stumbled across it for the first time today. I've been a member here for over 18 months.

As for the price of the truck, I'd suggest you visit Kelley Blue Book or a similar sight.

"99 price?

The "cash" price sounds about right, but that's just my opinion. As mentioned, some "posts" don't get noticed when people "browse". Don't take it personal, it is a very good site with some very helpful folks. Welcome and good luck with the purchase!
