Post Proposed New F-150 Online Window Sticker...

Thoughts? We're almost out of the current version, so I've been tinkering with a new design...thoughts? (And to those that have already purchased them, I'll try to take care of you somehow, so please don't ask the question)

Most honorable webmaster....very nice!
How about downsizing the lettering so OUR gorgeous truck could show itself off more! Or make the "www. F-150" protrude outside the oval, ( which of course should be done in Ford Blue ),to the left & "Online.com" protrude outside the oval to the right.

I like the new sticker. Are you keeping it to 2 colors to keep print costs down? I do however have one thing to ask. Can they be made as the plastic "static cling" kind that stick to the inside of the window? I would love to have an F150online sticker on my truck but I will not put a "bumper" type sticker on it that uses adheasive. I even told the dealer not to put their dealer name sticker on it so the paint doesn't get messed up.

That would look sweet opposite the USA oval I already have on my back window. It gets my vote...

Question

The design looks great. I hope that it would be offered with a choice of various text colors though (maybe red and blue?). The yellow doesn't do it for me and others. Really looks out of place on a black truck with red accents. What size will it be? Will there be choices on that too?

?? Likely they will be only two(ish) colors to keep the cost down and will not be available in anything other than the color lettering we choose. Keep in mind that the volume of these will be 1000 or less, because that is all that will be purchased. I don't care about making a profit on them, but I don't want to lose a bunch of money either. The primary point of these will be to promote the site. I don't know what material they will be at this point...

I know I'm going to be in the minority here, but I think my old-style sticker looks great in yellow-on-black on my black truck, stuck on just below my third brake light on the back window. By the way, Steve, it held up fine through the cold and ice of our Cdn winter, and came through a few "no-touch" car washes unscathed.

I didn't really like the "Powered by" wording, 'cause it ain't. Maybe a little teenager-ish for my personal tastes. But you beat me to it and it's gone, I see. Great minds?

If you're going to change it, I guess I'd prefer visible enough but fairly small, and yellow or red on a blue oval (or would that get you into trouble with FoMoCo?).

Thumbs up

Got to agree with Shifter on this one. I'm glad I got one of the old ones before they ran out.

I would also like to see it as a "cling" rather than a sticker. I have not allowed stickers on any of my vehicles since my 67 Belair!

Me too (for the static type and the not-since-a-long-time) -- only it was a '63 Chevy, and I used large STP stickers over the rust holes behind the front wheels (painted over them).

Since I have one of the old stickers I feel qualified to clear up some things.
First, if you haven't used a sticker since the sixties, the better ones have come a long way. I can remove this one with one fingernail in five seconds (and probably stick it elsewhere).
Second, the current sticker is only 9 inches long and 1.5 inches wide, not your typical size sticker. It fits great on the rear glass under the brakelight whether you have a slider or not.
Third, the yellow lettering allows it to be read at maybe one car length back. With this size lettering, any other color would just look like bird crap. The black background is unintrusive. The only thing that might have been better was clear. That would give the 'lettering' affect.
Fourth, if it changes I'll have to cough up another $4.50.
(Steve, you should wear a mask so we don't recognize you.)

On the 'new' sticker maybe the word (Member)?
Or would that be redundant?

I like it when can I order them the only thing that I would change is maybe if you can put the www.f15online.com around the outside so we can see more of the truck...looking good..

can you make some in red so they match my truck (on not)
I like the blue better than the yellow

Lettering looks like it will be hard to read at a distance and I don't want people on my tail trying to read a sticker. I also think the truck image makes it look cluttered. You won't be able to tell what it is, especially that it is a Ford truck.

Cool

Steve-
the new sticker looks great, and to think I just got mine a couple of days ago.

Raoul-
What is up with the normal in the sig. From what I have read you do not sound to normal to me, and if your not normal what makes you think the truck is.(Just kidding).

Don't hurt me
