For those involved in this process, the first step has been taken and I have engaged a law firm to incorporate the site.

I had a general discussion regarding clubs and chapters and she promised me she'll do some research and get back with me at our next meeting, some time next week.

In the meantime, here is my thought process. As this currently only affects two, maybe three groups I am inclined to allow the use of the name F-150 Online in your chapter name once the incorporation is complete and the personal liability is off of me. At this point, there will be no dues, no formal by-laws, but I would recommend that you take out insurance for your events.

If and when these "chapters" reach a critical mass, dues, by-laws, cost-sharing, insurance, etc. will most likely be necessary. If we really want to get into establishing a legitimate organization and not just hang out, drink beer and lay rubber, then this has to be the case. I will not do this half-assed. There is far too much at stake.
