Some of you may have noticed a new ad layout at the top of each page. F-150 Online just entered into an advertising/marketing agreement with About.com which will display banner ads and the search/links box in exchange for a higher CPM and a more visible presence on the About.com Trucks area.

The good news is that this program *should* bring significantly more money into the site, so some of the stuff I have been wanting to implement for a while (better chat, web-based email) should not be far off.

At first glance, the pages seem to load far faster than the previous ad banners...
