I still have a few tweaks to deal with, including some graphics, but I the upgrade itself seems to have gone pretty well...

Yeah, I'm sure you've got other work to do, but from an end-user perspecitve you did one hellova job. Nice cutover!

All we now is avatars so I can scrap my sig image!


And the site's performance is rippin' as well... very nice!

Joe it will be like instinct in no time. Being a member of numerous large forums this one was the last to make the v3 jump, and I must say it is a great leap in usability, speed, and easy of use.

Sadly, however, it will not increase the usage of the 'search' feature I'm sure...

Dang... I see that the site is redesigned. I excitedly go look at the thing that annoys me most.* It's not fixed. Poop. Looking forward to V4.....**







*Going to the next page of threads should be a big button labled "Next", not "Last" which is virtually useless.

Forums are going to start slowing down...rebuilding the search index. This is where vb3 is really NO better than vb2...or vb1, for that matter.

 

Still seems to be fast for me.

I'm getting used to it...

 

Can we just make the search button really big? Like HUGE, and bright yellow? Then maybe people will use it... eh... probably not.

 

Pfft...I don't check this place all day at work, and I come home, and it's all different!
