I use to think i washed the truck to much. But it's alot easier to wash it once a week or two weeks then go months and spend 5 hours on the damn thing. Started at 5 yesterday evening stopped at 9 and finished up a hour this morning.

I washed three of our cars this past week as well:

- '08 Taurus: It's amazing to me what one 46-year-old woman and one 11-year-old boy can do to a vehicle!

- '09 Ranger: Mostly garage dust since it's been sitting since I detailed it last fall. Now the topside is as clean as the underside!

- '97 Cavalier: Haven't driven it much since January but figured I'd give it a good wash before the bug splatter on the nose turned to concrete!

Coy -- all the money you've spent on that truck and you're still running the factory rims?

Looks great Coy! You made more progress than I did. Still have the whole Drivers side to do correction and protection on.

i know, really want new wheels and i have the opportunity to buy Patricks STX 20's. Ever since the wife got her Edge she seems to think we need to save money and of course that points to me and stuff i want for the truck

if i go 20s then im looking at the cost of wheels and of course tires. I really want the Nitto 420s for traction but after all said and done itll be close to 1300 bucks wheels/tires. Ive had my wheels/tires on numerous craigslist cities and no bites what So Ever. It would help to offset the cost if i can sell old wheels. Just no one wants em.

Next truck im going to be picky and get exactly what i want option, color, wheels and no chrome

When I finally get around to installing the Roush 20's I bought for my truck I'm planning on selling the 22's I have on it now. I was thinking of throwing them in CL, but maybe that's not the best place to move rims and tires....???

Id bet they would sell on CL. Depending what they are. My deal is no one wants the chrome clad 18's.

If they are in good shape and no one wants to give you anything for them, I'd be inclined to just throw them into storage and keep them long term until some guy is looking to restore his truck to "factory" some day and needs a set in nice condition. Especially if you remove the tires, rims don't take up much room -- just throw them up in the attic if nothing else.

Of course, the only problem will be if you ever decide to move and have to figure out what "crap" you take with you and what "crap" you leave behind or throw in the dumpster.....

Had a long day/night. Didn't get to bed until about 2:30am.

Around 4pm I got the call my sister was in a serious wreck, roll over, so I hauled *** up there, helped her husband out at the hospital, we were discharged around 11pm, went back to her house for a bit to help get her settled.

She's ok, gonna be very sore but thankfully no major injuries

Glad your sister wasn't seriously hurt -- it's amazing how bruised up you can get from a wreck like that though!

And as a car guy I hope she was driving her beater when it happened.....

Very glad to hear that it's nothing serious Pat. Hope she has a speedy recovery from the minor stuff and that all the insurance stuff is easy to sort out and deal with.
