Belltech 3/4 + traction bars = ?

What is everyone running for traction with the Belltech 3/4?

I have read that if you go with the bar type you run into clearance problems and exhaust problems.

So what do yeah have guys?

I got Caltracs on mine. I know they are not adjusted right but I did snug them up when I put them on. I went from no traction devices to the Caltracs and Nitto 555Rs and I can say that my trucks hooks much better now.

When I had the 3/4 Belltech drop, I bought Jay's Truk Traks from Sal at PSP. Worked and fit great.

I am running Metco's Traction bars. Can't remeber if they are the upper or lowers. They have a separate kit for the Belltech Hanger users.

They are adjustable. no complaints from me.

Caltracs here too. No problems except for the rattling from the anti-rattling kit

Truck-Traks are a direct bolt on with the BellTech 3/4 drop. You will have no clearance problems with them, due to the fact that they reference off the spring. The only thing that will make them closer to the ground, is a reduction in wheel/tire diameter.

I did not want to start a new thread and this one was pretty recent, but my question is which do you guys prefer between the Metco lowers, and the Caltracs…and why?

Well, I have never used Caltracs so I can't comment on them. I know the Metcos and caltracs are both adjustable. ASk RobG abot his.

I have the Metco lowers. The Metco lowers required me to modify my exhaust to be able to fit the bracket. The Caltracs don't. That is one. The Metco in my opinion looks better than the Caltracs.

Another thing I've noticed in difference between them is that the Caltracs when adjusted actually seem to pull on the spring too to remove squatting when launching. My Metcos seem to not do that even when adjusting, they seem to keep the spring in the same spot. Doesn't seem to be the correct. They do keep keep the axle from twisting though.

I have pretty much decided to get a set of Metcos and look at maybe making them longer.
