some guidance needed on forum

Is there a sticky thread for "how to" specifically for 97-2003 models?
I am wanting to replace my console and I havent found any of the how to instructions on it. I read a couple threads that referred to them, but I havent found them in any of my searches.

Someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Here is the index in the Articles and How To section. See if there is any help for you there. If not, PM member Patman03SprCrw. He is an expert on consoles and other stuff.

Here's one from a Lightning forum that was the first one I was given, http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...nsole-how.html

I started a thread late last year customizing one to fit around a stealth box but I'm scrapping that idea, Patman and TheJake both have threads where they've customized the consoles too.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info guys. I didnt see a console replacement in the article index.

Thanks for the lightening article as well. It was great. I had a couple questions about it though. Did he replace the console that was in the truck, or install one all together? I noticed he purchased quite a few parts for installing it. For instance, a seat bracket and seat lever. My truck already has bucket seats and the middle console which looks just like a shorter version of what he installed. I am wondering if I need to purchase all of those parts, or just a few of them.

Some of the parts that he used in that other write up were for the seats since he went from 60/40 bench to buckets.

Since you're already bucket seats all you'd need is the console and brackets
