I agree most people want the positive displacement supercharger expecially for towing...

anyway you go, make sure get an innercooler and enjoy the power gains

Why don't you guys talk about some REAL power?

http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/...sp?ProdID=1208

http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...r-selector.htm

Both these guys make the best power int he business. Will cost a bit more, but well worth it, if you do it right. I see a 4.6 cobra putting down 599 RHWP, that's amazing.

I believe Whipple, does the OEM for the Roush charger, and the new GT 500.

Maybe because neither of them have a kit for the F-150 with the 4.6

As I read this thread I was pumped because this is my next venture I am going to go into with my truck, but the thread has not had a post in a year! So!, sorry to bring it back up but I want to supercharge my 4.6 06 S-crew! I cannot find kits anywhere! But if I can get my hands of a blower that will fit the mustang motor can it be adapted for cheap? Dont want to spend over 5 grand. It was either get a bike or supercharge the truck, atleast I have a better chance of not killing myself in the truck

If I were going to do a single performance upgrade on my 2010 Supercrew, it would be a Ford Motorsports super charger for the 4.6 3V engine.

What's up with that remark? Isn't this thread about putting a supercharger on an F-Series SuperCrew 4.6 engines?

Thumbs up Thanks!

Hey guys,

I just wanted to say thanks for all these great comments. I also would like to throw a supercharger on my 4.6 v8 at some point (student loans don't leave much to play with as of right now). After reading this thread, I'm even more excited about getting around to it when I finally can. Glad to see this survived 11 years!!!
