m112 eaton supercharger on a 5.4 3v?
I work with a guy who has a cobra with the stock M112 supercharger on it. he come across an extra one for his car and told me that if I ported it for him he would give me the other one off of his car. I know it wont bolt up to my 5.4 but I work at a machine shop making performance intakes. so my question is, if I can get it on my engine will the performance that I get out of it be worth the time? my truck is a 2007 F150 FX2 Sport with a 5.4 3V.
The biggest fitment issues with SC's on these trucks is clearence at the fire wall. I can't recall how long the snout is on the cobra blower. I think its long. If it is long then its gonna push the blower body to far back and into the fire wall. If its short then you should be able to stagger your mounting flange fwd or aft to make the pulley line up and keep the blower off the fire wall.

nope, not gonan work unless you've got alot of time and money
how about you tell us what you know you'll need and we'll help you fill in the blanks
well I know I'm going to need a new lower intake manifold and a new upper plenum to match my throttle body, but that's no problem for me to make. I'm going to put higher performance fuel injectors on it so they can keep up with the extra boost. It'll have to be tuned. I don't really know if anything with the MAF will change.
Ive already ported the other supercharger. I think it went pretty good. There's not as much to it as people think, either that or I just completely screwed up my coworkers supercharger...
Here's some pics of the port.

you will need a lot more to make it work than just the lower manifold/plennum/injectors. the snout on the blower is longer and it wont let the blower pulley line up with the regular pullies, you need the pulley bridge that the lightning has. you need the lightning lower crank pulley, as well as the rest of the blower pulley system from the lightning.
if the 2v and 3v timing covers are the same, then just swap out the 3v timing cover for the lightning timing cover. if they are different, you will need to fab it up.
not to mention you will still need the intercooler plus all the support hardware for the intercooler (lines, tank, pump, etc), you will need the heat extractor, etc...
