Nice. But just out of curiosity...... I was browsing through the options under modify tune and they have this one where I can enable or disable tire/gear changes. What is that for?

 

choose enable for the changes to take effect.

 

I have yet to meet an advertised 33" tire that actually measures out to 33" tall

 

X2 on that. I go by the manufacturer's stated revs per mile, because if you go by 33, 35, etc, I've found the actual sizes are all over the map, varying by 1/4 to 1 inch!

I always go by manufacture specs because that takes into account tire expansion as you get to speed (provided they are properly inflated). Your tires will be slightly smaller at a stop.

 

What you could do is verify the speedo with a GPS - generally, the speedo should be about 2 mph high for the odometer to be spot on.

 

A 2007 4.6 2V has a slot-style MAF. Just like the 3V's (either 4.6 or 5.4). I believe this was the first year it was introduced on the 4.6 2V in the F150 ( 2006 and prior used the traditional integrated MAF/venturi assembly that was little-affected by intake system changes ( for the most part).

Hence - you run the same risks w.r.t intake tube changes introduced by a WAI in the MAF vicinity.

You should, at a mimimum, get yer A/F's checked. No CEL's / MIL's means bupkis.

So the diablo has tunes already made for using CAI's? or do you still have to get custom tunes made?

 

Yes the Predator and trinity have CAI tunes for 04-08 F150s. (Airaid/Roush/JLT/K&N)

 

Yes they have canned CAI tunes........
If your mods do not match anything that can be downloaded from their list of canned tunes then you'll need custom tunes.

 

well that is Nifty! I wonder why none of the other companies havnt done this!

 

There are more that have the cai option but they lack the ability to be custom tuned like the Diablo can.
Those others truly have canned tunes where as the Diablo is a canned or custom tune programmer.
