i bought an SCT xcal3 from VMP recently. ordered it on 8/24, and ordered 3 custom tunes at the same time, just wanted to know what the average wait time to get the tuner from vmp was. i am going on vacation to PA again on the 6th(just moved from PA to CO last month) and really want to see what i can do at the track at the same place i ran before in PA. i am really hoping i get it before i leave so i can use the economy tune for my 1450mile trip to help me out with paying me back some of that $400 i just spent. it will be 2900 miles there and back plus i will be there for about 2 weeks so it will all in all be close to 3500-4000 miles total.

 

I was looking at gryphons but I drive a 2001 F-150 5.4L. Anyone have any luck with programmer other than gryphon?

Read the stickies, and use Advanced Search to pull up any number ( hundreds) of posts related to customer experiences, testimonials, reviews, etc. Many different products - most have been tried by folks here; Superchips, SCT, Diablo, Edge, Gryphon, Hypertech, BullyDogPoo, Banks, ....blah blah blah ...

My advice (IMHO) - stick with Gryphon or SCT custom products - tuned by PHP, VMP or Troyer Performance, for the very best results.
