bankrpt -- Thanks for the pic. That is one pic I forgot to take. For all the others looking at this post, you can see in the pic where the strip is marked to show you where you can cut it to make it any lenght you want. The beauty of these strips is no matter how long or short they still use 12v with nothing else needed like resistors. Just wire it up and go.

Could one of you guys post the part number? I stopped at Autozone tonight and none of the guys had a clue what I was looking for.

that looks sweet im gonna do that to my mirrors. I also have that 2009-2011 mirrors on my 05 f150. but i think im gonna tint the reflectors a little bit while im doing it i dont really like how they stand out very much so i'll tint mine. Nice write up and pictures

Oh yeah one question is there any way of just taking the reflectors out without taking the mirrors completely apart?

It can be done but I wouldn't recommend it. Check this out.

If you see in the pic he shows prying the side next to the door. I would work on the curved outside. That clip is the one made to pry off. The other is the long tab used for a guide.

its VERY easy if you do it at the curve not the point closet to the door and also removed my reflectors again and they are at the paint shop getting smoked to match my head lights i cant wait so now my turn sigs are extremely bright cause i dont have the reflectors there lol

they are over in like the tuner section with all the neons, strobes, stick on chrome etc here are the ones i used

I've been wanting to know how you get the "Techinical Article Contributor" added to your name. Who determines that?

this will get it under your name im almost 100% sure lets go in halfs and patent this idea so ford cant steal it and use on the next model lol and then we can sell it to them and split the money lol

I was about to do this mod 3 days ago but the weather got the best of me....one question though can you run the lights as running lights and turn signals? Thats what I'm looking for...Looks good!!!
