My Oldest daughter decided to go four wheeling last weekend . After Packing Mud in every freakin nook and cranny, A battery light came on and the truck quit on her in the middle of an intersection the following day - battery puked - HAHAHA - Serves her right .

Well , I grabbed another battery and replaced hers (temporarily) to get back to the shop at the house here..

I tried to work on it earlier this week , but man I hate working on a dirty truck with this kind of problem - IT'S FREAKIN BAD -




The Alternator bearing was a little loose - Replaced it today and began to clean up the inside and outside of the Alternator and notice this -



The top of the housing was smashed in a little .. How in the hell could she of done this ? Well it cleaned up okay and spins real well - It was pretty nasty inside though lol ..Yea , that's toward the top of the alternator and it wasn't like that before we purchased it last summer.. Of course my kid has know idea... - uuhuh.. This isn't going to affect anything in the future is it , has anyone seen this type of deal before?

Instead of just a bunch of wires hanging !! FrickenFrackinDamnKid - What's a good punishment? I thinkin and cussing in between..

No she was just muddin with me i think she did a lil worse mud job thoe. i only bombed threw at 50 like 4 times and then i got stuck ...nva took my alt apart and cleaned it...oh well it runs fine now

 

I am thinking...use a belt...a bus pass...and make HER clean the truck!

Upon second thought, a belt leaves marks...I saw a movie where someone put oranges in pillowcase...

 

She didn't get stuck , They have a little club , that's actually pretty cool - In the summer she drives rge tractor at the mud bogs to pull the ones out that don't make it.. The funnest part to watch is her hooking that big a$$ cable while she's yelling at the driver to get back in there truck - there not suppose to get out for insurance reasons - but they never listen . Thats allot of fun ..

I think she was drunk to tell you the truth - to do somthing this freakin ignorint!! I shouldn't say that.. I don't know .. But I took Phills advise and let her truck sit for week before really working on it..

 

you shoulda made her fix it Jbrew...right after i got my truck un stuck i got pulled over in wixom. bc my back right tail light was out. he asked if we just came from work and im like yes officer! lol my truck wasnt happy that nite. i have no idea how she got that plasted with mudd. unless she was at one end while like 4 trucks just roster tailed mudd at her truck... had that happen when i was fallowing a suburben threw some trails he sprayed my hood. i gotta go out there and party with you and your family Jbrew looks like lots of fun.. ill bring my guns n my fire works and oh of corse my truck it'll be lots of fun!!

 

WHAT!! Where you out there !! What happen ? Did she do all that herself or let someone else do it? If so WHO! Tell me shifty , I give yuh a spark plug or an IAC or something - Who did this ??

Hell I have freakin goggles on and I still get sh^t in my eye thinking about going under that thing in the rear . I'm heading out to tie up that spaghetti now. So she can get to school next week .. Crap!

 

Yea she's going to clean it alright - thing is , the spickets are still froze here . I should have hooked a hose up in the house and made her wash in the cold - She could get it muddy in the cold , so she can sure as hell can clean it up out there!! Hmm , That Monster Jam 's tomorrow and she's been talking about that all week - Tomorrow might be a good day for her to wash 'er up ehhh..

 

From what I understand they were out in one of her friends field - A friend that I never heard of or met, so I don't know- maybe.

I guess it could of been worse , she could have been out in one of the cow pastures around here.. - She wouldn't have drove again until spring if that was the case..

I have to finish her truck - An explorers out in the drive - dealership wanted $1200 to do something to the trans , I have know idea what for that price - I'm just flushing and refilling w/good sh^t and some friction modifier for the guy - see what happens Then I'm pulling mine in if I get to it..

I doubt I'll be going this year myself , so take some pics .. I'll have some tomorrow night from everyone around here - I still might go.. Not sure..

 

same here it should be funn...does she get to go? yeah i drive by clarenceville every day for work. my buddy works at that sears right there in the autos bay doing batts and stuff. yeah ford feilds like a 1/2 hour from me not too bad i miss the silverdome thoe

 

I miss the Super Cross . I use to go every year and end up in a fight - Easy to do their , lots of peoples asking for it - Haven't went in a long time - The Silver dome is still standing isn't it ? - It was on the wrecking ball list at one time . but it was saved somehow, by someone..
