Talking Just dynoed the 04 screw w/xcal2, af1, and magnaflow

Dynoed the 04 screw 4x4 xlt w/ af1, magnaflow SI/SO, and xcal2 on 93 perf tune from TP, 3rd run was 252hp, 325tq . Have to send my info to Mike so he can tweek as needed. I will try and post up the graphs tonight.

Tnx Again to Mike and the great customer service @ TP. I had a question about the 3rd run and got my answer while waiting for my truck to cool after the second run on the dyno from Mike himself. Even the dyno operator was amazed @ how fast the reponse was.

Yes it is. Let me tell you I have been around vehicles that have been dynoed in the past, but when you are in one on the dyno and in my case the speedo was pegged at 120mph and the rpm was still climbing @ 5400, it is an awesome rush.

Hi David,

Thanks for your post, & we got your datalogging.

I have not yet had time to look at it, it will probably take a week or so to get to that, but so far from the little bit I quickly glanced at, it looks pretty darned good!

You'll also be happy to know that we got to the bottom of that earlier issue you had with the original tunes for that particular code, and it's something Ford changed in the background, just as we suspected - we got that verified & fully dyno-tested another truck with your exact same code just yesterday, and got excellent results there, too. So we'll make those appropriate changes to your new tunes at the same time we review the datalogging info, so you'll be wrapped up & completed.

Congratulations on an excellent result!

Mike great to hear you found out what Ford changed on the reflash. I must say that I was amzed at the a/f's on the runs. I can't wait to try out the new tunes with the fix you dynoed. Tnx Again for your help and work on this issue. I can't tell enough folks to call TP to experience first class service and tuning.

I did not dyno the truck stock, but from what others have posted, Mike included, I want to say an 04 f150 4x4 stock hp is 200-210 range at the rear wheels. I mean the xcal2 has not only made my truck faster, it has made my truck more fun to drive, better shifts and such, and as Mike posted above it's not done yet. I cannot wait for the new tunes to try them out.

Hey neighbor, Just got my dyno runs emailed to me. If your in the Northwest burbs, I recommend Speed Inc inc Schaumburg, for your dyno runs, I got 3 runs with a/f's for $ 90. Now onto the dyno charts. The first run dip you see is the truck slipped on the dyno, so we had to tighten the straps.

Well that is the truth, this place had the Dynojet 248X above ground. Truck was put on a lift and back up onto the dyno. The thought of slipping, and straps letting go is stress enough. But that 3rd run that was the ultimate rush. I need to add more go fast items and go back and dyno again .

i noticed that the first 2runs were in 2nd gear, is there a reason you did a third gear run too? i know you are supposed to do 3rd gear runs unless you can lock up the converter in 2nd. Good numbers and good a/f s too.
