Installed PIE adaptor

Man... what a difference! So much better then using an FM modulator. I am also no longer at the mercy of other FM signals on the same band as the modulator. I was using the modulator to send a signal to my XM radio. The icing on the cake is that I can now plug in an MP3 player to the radio.

The is a seller on ebay that sells them for $65. This also includes your choice of RCA adaptors. Really a good deal.

As with the power and antenna wire, I ran the 3.5mm jack line up under the dash tray and out the side of it. Minimal wires can be seen.

How do you take the radio out to get to it? Does the wood grain cover just pull off? Where is your antenna mounted?

The face panel simply pulls off. Start from the bottom. You then unscrew the radio. Very simple. I have an XM radio in the truck and use the OEM Sirius antenna (just removed the adaptor on the plug in.
