Has anyone used an FM direct adapter on a 2000 F150?

I bought a Sirius FM Direct Adapter for use on my F150, but it doesn't work. I installed it in my 2005 Explorer and it worked. I thought it was bad, but after it worked in the Explorer, I'm not sure what was going on.
