HI, I have a 04 F-150 and I am trying to hardwire the Sirius Starmate Plug & Play tuner.

I need to know is it ok to tap into the acc 12V wire?

My best guess is it is a 10-12 guage wire and the Sirius one is maybe 20-24 guage. If it is ok, what color tap do I need? Yellow for 10-12 guage wires, blue 14-16 guage, or red 18-24 guage

Also the amprage on the cig lighter is 2 amps, but I can't find a place that sells either a mini blade fuse or a way to use the glass cartridge fuse that the ligher is using now. Any ideas?
