sirius problem with system

the deal is i switch this xact replay from personal truck to work truck.Alright in personal truck i have a older pioneer cd [the one with dolphins on the screen],2 amps and a sub.1 amp doors ,1 amp sub.I have seperate sub control and can fade left to right, front back and all that stuff.Anyway system sounds good and clean on cd,but when i run the xact through the aux it is clear but the sub is super disorted.I bought the bus cable form pioneer and connected form the audio out on the xact to rca cable to the bus cable and into the pioneer.Whats the trouble ?will it not work with my setup?I thought the sub was messed up but it sounds fine on cd or fm.I have 2 sets of rca to door amp and another set to sub to seperate everything.Any help will be greatly appreciated, and sorry for such a long drawn out post,I just wanted to get out all the details.

what i think it is, from the sirius unit is putting out low frequency which is being routed to your sub and very little of your mid's/highs. try adjusting the eq's on your head unit/ you might even try adjusting the frequency on your sub amp turn it down alittle bit that may help.

Check to see if your Sirius reciever has an audio boost of some type. My Clarion did, and when I turned it down, it sounded sweet. Of course, I don't have subs, but that's my experience. Hope the .02 helps.
