Anyone had to replace Sirius antenna?

Installed Sirius "Sportster Replay" unit last August. Am having to get the antenna replaced this week. I got the new style antenna called the "dot". Started having problems getting a signal and eventually could get no signal at all. Antenna is mounted on the roof and after inspection the plastic around the center silver piece was cracked.

Was wondering if any of you have had to replace your antennas?

When I bought by Sat Radio, I talked to alot of people who had problems with ant. I have seen the ant flapping in the breeze going down the highway. I decided to just put mine on the dash out of the elements. Works fine. Some have put them under the cowl.

Good luck.

FYI

Replaced the antenna I got with my Sportser Replay with a "Monster Sirius Antenna". Picked it up at Radioshack for about $65.00 with tax.

Have had it for two days and I have noticed a vast improvement on reception and the amount of time it takes for the stations and songs to load up.

Very happy so far.
