Anyone know if hte mobile units with the car kits car hook up to the AUX input that some decks have? or do they have to use the FM transmitter?

The AudioVox setup that I have came with an adaptor that would plug into the AUX jack on most aftermarket stereos. The wire has a single male plug to plug into the satellite receiver connected to a pair of RCA plugs on the other end to plug into the AUX Jacks. How well this works on some of the Ford stock radio AUX's (mine had the tape deck so I didn't have this feature) I am not sure. I think that most of the units, Sirius or XM have this type of cable now.

Hope that helped.

Bill

It won't work with an '04/'05 with the single CD and just the aux button. Nobody's made an adapter to plug into that aux input on the back yet.
