Question "axle wind-up" problem

My wife to be just bought a F-150 super crew and she loves it. But when she's shopping in the parking lot and backs out of her space in 4 wheel drive, it binds during a sharp turn.
This is unsafe and I told the dealer about it and they say that not enough complaining has been heard about it. Please tell me if we're alone on this. Thanks.

The problem you're describing doesn't sound like "axle wind up". Why is she using 4WD in a parking lot? You should never use 4WD on pavement, especially dry pavement.
