Post Extended Warranties

My question on warranties is: Do I need it?
I'm wondering how many Ford owners purchased these? I have a 2000 Supercab 5.4 V-8. Rec in the mail today an offer that extends the warranty to the year 2005 or 60,000 miles for $930. This is a $100 deductable warranty.

Any advice?

If I was you I wouldn't worry about it just yet. From reading other people's comments, they aren't giving you the best deal. Do a search on the message board here for extended warranty.

Myself, I've had my truck over 2 years, and have until the third year to get the extended warranty. When the time comes, I need to consider:
1. How much is the ext warranty?
2. Am I getting a good deal (i.e. shop around)
3. How reliable has the truck been

I am waiting until I have almost no time left to buy it. If my truck has been very reliable, I will not even buy the extended warranty.
