Tune-Up Help
Hope this is the right place for this post.
Sorry if I sound ignorant, but all of my previous pickups (unfortunately they were Chevys, but never again!) had 4 bbl carbs and distributors. What is involved in a tune-up on the 4.2L? Just plugs and wires, or is there something you are supposed to do with the timing? I figured that all of the timing was computer controlled (hence, the performance chip) but I'm not sure what else there is to do on these new-fangled, no-distributor-having, EFI contraptions. Any help here would be appreciated.

I Also have a 4.2. The only thing you can change are the plugs and the wires. Can't set timing and no points to change. That leaves plugs, wires, fuel and air filters.
