Post Warranty coverage

What items are not covered under 3/36,000 warranty ?
Someone said the muffler was a normal wear item and is not covered.
My owners manual says nothing about it not being covered

The items generally not covered under warrenty are normal wear and tear items like tires, shocks, light bulbs, wiper blades, etc. Think of it this way, anything that would wear out under normal use.
Check your owners manual again, it should list what is not covered, also check the warrenty suplement that came with the manual.

What if a transmission needed replacing under warranty, would the new transmission be covered for a full warranty period or only for the balance of the current warranty?
