i hope i am doing this right - first time.
i need help. i have a '98 f150 showing a p0708 code and cant get it inspected. i have replaced the tr sensor, cleaned the terminals of the connecting plug, adjusted the sensor to line up neutral mark, pulled the whole wiring harness off and checked for wiring damage and cleaned the plug that the harness plugs into behind the main fuses. the code is still coming up after i clear them. it usually comes up when startinh the truck. one more thing - the truck was a flood vehicle. i think i am looking at a pcm but hate to be wrong about it. can anyone help me out. brian

it was he pcm - only cost $150 at autozone. thanks everyone who helped.
