I can't find out where the oil plug is on my friends 99 F-150 Lariat 5.4L. Some help would be greatly appreciated b/c this thing is hiding somewhere... I feel like a retard asking this but o well, gotta do what you gotta do

 

Post over in the engine forums, you'll proabably get a faster response. I don't know off hand.....

 

Its on the right side of the oil pan towards the rear. Lay under the right front wheel and you will see it.

 

I feel worried for some reason ! Just kidding...follow Lee's advice...find the pan and look near the bottom of it.

 

you should feel worried... very worried.

 

i am also very worried. i am not sure he should even change the oil if he cant even find the oil plug.
